VoTek is a software company specialized in developing high-tech and innovative solutions based on automatic Arabic speech recognition. 

Although Arabic is among the 10 most widely spoken languages all around the world, there are few attempts to build a robust and advanced Arabic speech recognition engine due to language difficulty and variety of accents.

That was the main reason for VoTek's startup.

  Why VoTek?

As a result of nearly three years of research in the field of Arabic language processing and speech recognition, we've succeeded in building the first version of an Arabic speech recognizer that can:

• Recognize continuous speech, not only discrete words, with 91% accuracy. Great improvements in accuracy can be achieved by applying the ASR engine to specific domains.
• Recognize standard Arabic and dialects. Dialects can be specified according to customer needs.
• Speaker-independent.
• Designed and developed by our own team, so it can be customized and extended to adapt client needs.
