VoTek is a software company specialized in developing high-tech and innovative solutions based on automatic Arabic speech recognition.
Although Arabic is among the 10 most widely spoken languages all around the world, there are few attempts to build a robust and advanced Arabic speech recognition engine due to language difficulty and variety of accents.
That was the main reason for VoTek's startup.

We will give a presentation at one of the MENA ICT Week business events, among the most prominent ICT sector events in the Arab world. SCS will host this year's event which encompasses all concerned parties working in the field of ICT.
Our speech-recognition engine was awarded as one of the top ten innovative ideas in the TBPC (Arab Technology Business Plan Competition) sponsored by the Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF) and Intel Co 2010.
We were awarded first place in the Fikra Competition for Best Graduation Project (“Generic Framework for Building a Multilingual Dialog System”).
We were awarded first place in Shell’s liveWIRE competition for best business plan.
We were awarded 4th place in the startup competition sponsored by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation and SCS (Syrian Computer Society).
